The first MH-47G Chinook, a special ops variant of the transport chopper, was delivered to the U.S. Army in September 2014 — its primary role being the infiltration and extraction of troops deep inside enemy territory. Featuring markings for the 160th SOAR "Night Stalkers," this 1/72 scale, die cast model comes with free-spinning front and rear rotors, see-through cockpit and cabin windows, a well-appointed interior, an opening side and rear door, authentic U.S. Army markings, and a runway-style display base. Measures approximately 16½" long with a 10" rotor-span.
