Poland produced the MiG-17 aircraft, after purchasing a license in 1955, and named it Lim-5. A total of 477 Lim-5s were made with its first completed on November 28, 1956. Wearing a special paint scheme by artist Grezygier, the oldest Lim-5 of the 45th Experimental Aviation Squadron conducted a commemorative last flight on July 12, 1993.< /br>
