Designed as a strike fighter for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the Mitsubishi F-2 was first flown on October 7, 1995. Based on an enlarged version of the F-16 (known as the Agile Falcon), the F-2 replaced the aging Mitsubishi F-1. This 1/72 scale, die cast model from Hobby Master recreates the F-2A as flown by the JASDF in Japan in 2019. This amazing piece includes realistic panel lines, an opening canopy, a detailed interior, interchangeable landing gear, authentic markings and ordnance loads, plus a display stand. 8 ½" long.
