This is a DVD collection of film on the Globemaster aircraft story. Early design roots are from the DC-4 (C-54) but much larger C-74. Only 14 were built and the C-74 was developed into the C-124 Globemaster II to easily carry heavy equipment such as tanks globally. Included are six short films: "AAF ID C-54 Skymaster", "C-74 Globemaster I", "Airlift History", "C-124 Globemaster II", "C-17 Globemaster III Development",and "C-17 Globemaster III". 1 hr. 30 min.

1st Film: "AAF ID C-54 Skymaster". This is an Army Air Forces film on how to identify the DC-4/C-54 Skymaster and its unique features.



2nd Film: "C-74 Globemaster I". There is very little film footage on the
C-74 and only 14 were ever build. In this film called: "Operation Vittles."
Based on the Berlin Airlift, the C-74 along with the C-47, C-54 and British aircraft delivered enough food and supplies for 10 months to save Berlin blockade.



3rd Film: "Airlift History". This film is called Airlift to Humanity. Tells the story of the Airlift command in WW2 to 1970s, all over the world.



4th Film: "C-124 Globemaster II". This is a USAF film about the mighty C-124 Globemaster being used to fly supplies to Antarctic.



5th Film: "C-17 Globemaster III Development ". This is a USAF film about the mighty C-17 Globemaster III, from development to field.



6th Film: "C-17 Globemaster III". These is stock footage on the C-17 Globemaster up in the high desert, CA.
