When WWII began, the famed DC-3 was adapted for military use and entered service as the C-47, also known as the "Skytrain." Eventually, some C-47's were even converted to heavily armed gunships and used in Vietnam. Plastic kit features recessed panel lines, detailed landing gear, full cargo bay floor and bulkheads, and 3 optional types of carburetor air intakes on top of engine cowling. 15¾" wingspan, includes choice of markings. 84 pieces; assembly required.
