| USS Kearsarge LHD-3 1/700 Kit
Commissioned in October, 1993, the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) Wasp-class amphibious assault ship is the fifth vessel to be named in honor of the USS Kearsarge sloop-of-war ship from the American Civil War. This 1/700 scale, plastic kit features a waterline hull and an intricate superstructure; a service deck and a well deck with optional-position doors; optional-position port and starboard elevators; a full complement of weapons, including a Sea Sparrow launcher and a Phalanx anti-missile system; eight Harriers, three CH-53 helicopters, and four V-22 Osprey aircraft; authentic markings; and more. 14¼" long; 142 parts, skill level 4.
