Replicating the famous S.E.5a flown by 57-victory ace Major James McCudden - the seventh highest-scoring World War I ace - of No. 56 Squadron when he downed 11 German aircraft in February, 1918, this limited edition, 1/48 scale, die cast Corgi model features simulated fabric-covering and real wire rigging, an upper-wing mounted Lewis machine gun with a photo-etched metal sight and a telescopic "Aldis" sight mounted in front of the pilot-occupied cockpit, long exhaust pipes on both sides of the fuselage, a rotating four-blade propeller and rolling wheels with rubber tires, authentic Royal Flying Corps markings, and more. 6¾" wingspan; includes a display stand.
