Italian Navy Battleship RN Roma 1943 1/700 Kit The fourth Italian Royal Navy Vittorio Veneto-class battleship, the RN Roma was used to bolster the anti-aircraft defenses of various Italian cities but was sunk by German Do 217 bombers (armed with Fritz X radio-controlled bombs) on September 9, 1943 - one day after Italy signed the armistice with the Allies.
