Designed by the Imperial Japanese Navy for amphibious invasions of Pacific Islands during World War II, the Type 2 tank saw only limited production due to its complex components. A replica of one of those rare tanks in its combat configuration (without pontoons), this 1/35 scale, plastic kit features one piece upper and lower hull components, a detailed turret with a 37mm gun and a hydroscope, two 7.7mm machine guns, optional-position hatches, multi-part wheels with realistic tracks, plenty of photo-etched brass parts, and more. 5½" long; 257 parts, assembly required.
