Transferred from NAS Whidbey Island, Washington in the spring of 2012, VAQ-141 Shadowhawks moved to NAF Atsugi, Japan and were assigned to the USS George Washington. In 2015, they moved to the USS Ronald Reagan where they spend three months deployed in the Indo-Asia Pacific region. After returning on November 28, VAQ-141 were then sent to MCAS Iwakuni with one of the Growlers being originally assigned to VAQ-129 Vikings as NJ-543.
This 1/72 scale, die cast model is a Hobby Master replica of an EA-18G Growler, as it appeared with VAQ-141 Shadowhawks onboard USS Ronald Reagan at Atsugi Air Base in 2017, features engraved panel lines, an opening canopy with removable pilot figure, optional-position landing gear, a professionally hand painted scheme, loads of optional armament, a well-equipped cockpit, authentic markings, and a display stand. Measures 10" long with a 7½" wingspan.
